Agilent today announced the new Cary 3500 Flexible UV-Vis spectrophotometer—the latest member of the Cary 3500 UV-Vis series—with advanced photometric performance for a diverse range of sample types.
The Cary 3500 Flexible UV-Vis offers a unique large sample compartment with a small footprint, for analyzing liquid samples that require long path length cuvettes, as well as characterizing solid samples. An easy-to-use variable path length cell holder, for cells up to 10 cm, is provided with the system (see below). All Cary 3500 UV-Vis systems can be deployed with the OpenLab software suite to help organizations achieve their compliance goals.
Also, from 1st April 2023, the Cary 3500 UV-Vis spectrophotometer series includes a 10-year warranty xenon flash lamp (for instruments purchased from Agilent or participating partners) that eliminates the daily warmup time and drastically reduces the frequency and cost of conventional lamp replacement.
