Good afternoon,
I've recently begun receiving an error message when trying to run samples using MassHunter 10.00. The error I receive is "System.IO.PathTooLongException". "The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters". This seems fairly self-explanatory to fix, but the only thing that fixes it is to save our files to the "D:/Data" folder and no other sub folders. Our file names usually just utilize a YearMonthDay_001 format and are not too complicated.
We only started receiving this error after moving this instrument into a new facility. I've attached a photo of the error. Has anyone else seen this error, and how did you solve it?
