MAP file generator in Masshunter Workstation version 12.1

There is some information in help, but basically you would specify the folder where an example import file exists, select the file in the dropdown dialog, import all columns, and then choose what Worklist column to map the import file column to.

If you use a mapping file you must map all columns, even if the Input Column name exactly matches the Map /Display Column name.

After you have it set up, save the map file and then you can specify it when importing your Worklist.

If your input file contains the microliter symbol, µ, then make certain to save the file in UTF-8 format so the character will match the character in the Worklist column.

The MAP file appears to save as a .xml file but the worklist files are .w and I can't seem to find where I can import a worklist.

The menu item for importing samples to a worklist has changed in the latest revisions, though it is in the same context menu. Previously selecting and right clicking a worklist row would give the option to Import Worklist...

Now the menu option is shown as Add/Append Samples from... (csv,xlsx)

From there the process is the same. Specify the Import File and optional Map File and then Start Import.
