I am currently on MSD chemstation E.02.02.1431 and am having issues with the integrators. Does anyone know why the data analysis software allows the user to switch back and forth between the RTE integrator and the chemstation integrator? If so do you know why do the area counts in the RTE integrator reduce to 1/10 of the area response that you see when using the chemstation integrator? It seems my integration problems go away with the RTE integrator but I'm not sure about the response changing so much.
I found a document https://www.agilent.com/cs/library/usermanuals/public/G1701-90101.pdf that talks about how peak resolution is calculated differently and wondering if this is related to the way chemstation measures the area?'
My lab will be switching to Openlab and I also see that there is an option to pick between two different integrators there as well. Will I see the same issue?
