Issue with dMRM Peak Detection on 6460 MS/MS

I am writing to seek your assistance regarding an issue I’m encountering with the 6460 MS/MS system during my analysis using the dMRM method. I have successfully used this setup multiple times in the past, but recently, I have been unable to detect peaks with the dMRM method.

Interestingly, when I switch to the MRM method, I am able to find the peaks, and the retention times are almost identical to those expected from my dMRM method. Despite extensive research online, I have not been able to find a solution to this problem.

Could you please provide guidance or suggest any troubleshooting steps that might help resolve this issue?

Hello Yasar ,

If you haven't already, you could try resetting the instrument using these instructions.

Performing a Full Reset of an LC/MS Triple Quadrupole System

Next you could try making a new dMRM method from the default method. It is possible your current method may be corrupt.

Another thing you may want to try is to make certain you have a good tune file that includes all widths, ie don't perform unit mass only tuning.
