different slope of calibration curve for split/splitless mode + SIM mode - MassHunter Quantitative Software

Hi Everyone,

I have found out two different values of slope for a 10-point calibration curve in lower and higher concentration of standard while running in splitless mode - SIM mode. However the same set of standard gave nearly close values of slope in both lower and higher concentration while run in split mode (10:1). Could anyone tell me the reason behind the discrepancy? Could it be due to lower relative response values in split mode (10:1) that the different slope values in lower and higher concentration getting unnoticed compared to splitless mode?

Thanks!
