Hello, i have questions about MPP and Profinder

Question

I am using for the first time Mass Hunter Profinder and MPP and I have many issues. For example, in many app notes i saw that the order is QUAL-PROFINDER (to find features)-MPP(statistical analysis-PCA etc.), but in other app notes the Mass Profinder is ommited and after Qual follows the MPP. The questions are the following: 1) When do i use both Profinder and MPP? (i think that this is the right software order for data analysis to find a pattern-model from your data) 
 2) In which cases can i use only MPP after Qual? I think is necessary to find firstly the features (profinder) and then to do the statistical analysis to find for example the principal components for my independent variable (MPP).

 For most data types and workflows, the current version of Profinder can typically offer more flexible feature finding capabilities for MPP analysis than Qual. One online resource for examining current workflows and capabilities is Agilent's Emerging OMICs Webinar series found here.
