Could not find any section of Agilent website that offered any pointers to MHDAC and MIDAC libraries for reading spectral data.
Is it available? Do I need to email somebody? It's in ProteoWizard, so it must be available.

What instrument is the software controlling, and what model and version number of the software do you have installed?
1) I don't want/need to control any instrument, I only want to read data from agilent mass spec files for data processing purposes without having to convert files to open formats like mzML.
2) I don't have any Agilent software installed.
3) I would like to publish open-source software that should be able to read Agilent mass-spec data. Are you familiar with ProteoWizard package? One program in ProteoWizard package is called MsConvert and can convert files from different vendor formats to mzML or mzXML. I'd like to be able to perform a similar task.
4) MHDAC and MIDAC libraries provide access to reading Agilent files from regular and ion-mobility-enabled instruments
5) These libraries don't seem to be available from Agilen't software portal - so I'm asking for any leads to get access to them. ProteoWizard does have access to these libraries, so there must be some way to get them.
What type of data is this. GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS?
Hello dmtavt,
Access to these libraries can only be obtained with approval from Agilent after signed agreements are in place. Please reach out to your local sales representative for further information and assistance on what would be needed to proceed.
Ok, thank you Howard, I did send an email to cag_sales-na@agilent.com - is that the correct email for USA?
Yes, I believe that should be the one.
