The quantitation results are saved in the batch.bin file.
what about the quantitative.xml file? Contains all information as well about the quantified compounds
That file is a copy of the quantitation method embedded in the batch.bin file.
how can the results then be extracted from the batch.bin file? is there a File API or so?
A script file can be written to extract the quantitated values be exported to a csv file for each data file or one csv that contains all the data's quantitated values.

In addition to scripting you can also utilize Quant's reporting engine to generate files in CSV or TXT format that would be suitable for transferring the batch results into a LIMS system or other external database. Check in the PDF-Report Builder and PDF-Reporting template folders for a few example LIMS report templates.
