We have modified the Graphic settings tab and now the error is no longer displayed but the report in still not generated: it runs constantly

I don't believe that your old report method will be recoverable. I would try the steps in the link above, restoring user settings and then make a new reporting method. For a first test use one of the default shipping templates just to make certain there are no other issues. Then edit that reporting method to use your usual template and see if that works.
