Agilent/Bruker LC-MS Ion Trap w/ XP Software
Does anyone have this old system? I am having trouble w/ communication between the computer and the system. I am receiving error code 0x800706BA which indicates that the remote procedure call server (rpc) is unavailable. I have tried changing the switch/LAN box, rebooting the entire system even shutting down mass spec and reboot, but still does not work. I am assuming that the problem may have occurred because I was connected to the internet and we are no longer allowed to connect to the internet with XP software on the system. Perhaps something occurred when there was an attempt to do an auto upgrade because I was still connected to the internet. I'd appreciate any advice you maybe able to offer.
