UV results on Masshunter - acquired by LC/DAD/Triple Quad

HPLC pump/DAD/Triple quad mass spectrometer using "MassHunter Workstation LC/MS data acquisition for 6400 Series Triple Quadrupole Version 10.0 SR1, Build 10.0.142",

Data acquired for some analytes on UV 275 nm - due to some regulation compliance and/or sensitivity issue - and some analytes via MS/MS - due to some regulation compliance and/or sensitivity issue.

Could you help?

- How to analyze UV data, calibration curve, quantification etc.

- Is it possible to combine the results from UV and MS and generate in one report?

    Hi ,

    There are two videos, "Method Editor - 2D Signals - UV - Advanced" and "Method Editor - 2D Signals - MS and UV - Advanced", that address using UV data in Quant that will be helpful to get started. These videos are located in the MassHunter/Videos/Quant folder. I find it useful to search for them using "2D." As the videos will show, the UV compounds will be treated the same as MS compounds as far as the calibration curve set up and quantification goes after they are set up under Advanced Tasks. 

     

    If the UV and MS compounds are set up in the method and found in the batch, they will also show up in Quant reports without further modification.
