Autotune Failing

Hi guys,

Our lab has an Agilent 1290 UPLC attached to a 6475A TQ instrument running on a MassHunter 12.1 Software.  In the past 3 days, we failed to get a good tune. It keeps failing we cleaned the everything that we can clean the spray chamber, spray shield, pulled and cleaned the capillary, Flushed the nebulizer, readjusted the nebulizer etc.  Our Calibration mix is about 1 month old and has been stored in the refrigerator.

The autotune always fails at MS1 and MS2 lag factors and says it is out of tolerance.

The closest we came was everything passed except the Lag Factor Result table was out of tolerance at the MS1 Scan, Scan speed 0.00 Samples SIM, Step Size 0.10 in positive mode only.

We ordered fresh solution but I really appreciate an input.

    It appears that you are running an older version of the ESW. I made a phone call to the person who installed your instrument (local engineer - Tin) and he will be in touch with you soon regarding upgrading the ESW that should solve the lag factor issues you are having. Going forward, I highly recommend reaching out to the Agilent call center (1-800-227-9770, Option 3) or to the local field engineer, so you don't have too long to resolve your issue.
