Agilent 6430 QQQ Edwards rough pump oil leaking

Dear Concern, 
 Agilent 6430A QQQ Edwards rough pump oil leaking. Can I replace it by new MS40+ pump. is there needed any other modification?

Hi Nadim, 
 Yes you can upgrade to a MS40 rough pump. The MS40 draws more current than the EM28 pumps so cannot be powered directly. The system will need a pump expander box to be fitted as part of the upgrade so the rough pump can be switched on and off by the MS. This is an officially supported upgrade and y our local customer care team will understand the upgrade should be able to assist with this.
