error failed switching to main pass

I am getting an error on our Agilent 1290/6420 LC-MS/MS.  I start a run and the first injection is successful, then when it goes to the second injection, it errors and says "failed switching to main pass" and shuts down.  From my reading, this is a failure of the injection valve.  We have an Agilent G64226A autosampler.  I have restarted several times but this does not fix it.  Has anyone encountered this before?  How can I fix?  Thank you!

    When did the issue first occur (after a power outage, after a software update, etc.)?

    You are correct that the error ''failed switching to main pass'' is caused by the valve in the G4226A sampler, it could be caused by the actuator motor not working properly anymore or the valve body itself causing the issue to the board of the sampling unit.

    If you go in your software, right click on the sampler image (in the Acquisition software), then press turn valve to bypass, then turn valve to mainpass and perform this steps 5-10 times, does the system go into error?

    If so, you will need an onsite visit from an Agilent FSE to most probably replace the valve motor or a part in that section.
