We have Agilent 1260 System with a Sampler Module from older system (1200). When we restart the module, the light goes from green, to yellow to red and the door opens up. The status remains "OFFLINE". The rest of the modules are connected and can be controlled. The last problem reported right before the Module became "OFFLINE" is that the location of the vial is not valid. At that point we still had some control and some sampler commands were working. What can be tested in addition to restarting everything (we've tried restarting the computer (XP) and the system multiple times to establish communication).
