In some situations, it is necessary to perform a so-called cold start (forced coldstart). Reasons can be commands which have not been correctly processed in the electronics, or sensors that have become obsolete during operation. With this cold start, the module will be reset to the factory settings.
Step-by-step guide
Processing on Infinity I systems
Switch off the module
On the back of the module, make a note of the position of the "dip switches" (see the red marking in the drawing; example pump)
Switch the "dip switches" to the following position (position 1 is above, position 0 is below). For the cold start switch "dip switches" 1, 2 and 8 up - the others (3-7) down.
Switch the module on again and wait until the initialization is finished (status LED off).
Switch the module off again and reset the original position of the "dip switches". Then switch the module on again. Cold start is completed and the module can be controlled again.
Processing on Infinity II systems
Switch off the module
On the back of the module, make a note of the position of the "dip switches" (see the red marking in the drawing; example VWD)
Switch the "dip switches" to the following position (position 1 is above, position 0 is below). For the cold start switch "dip switches" 1 and 6 up - the others (2-5) down.
Switch the module on again and wait until the initialization is finished (status LED off)
Switch the module off again and reset the original position of the "dip switches". Then switch the module on again. Cold start is completed and the module can be controlled again.
