GA208A Insta Pilot is interfering with Empower 3 SP4 operation of 1260 HPLC

This was solved. Here is the solution:
LAN connections must be in the following order for Agilent 1260 Infinity II LC Systems from
• LAC\E32
• Detector
• Autosampler
• Quart Pump
• Column Compartment
…in this exact order, top to bottom.

Thank you for letting us know you resolved your issue. Please be careful when plugging a G4208A instant pilot in and out of the LC stack while the LC is powered on. This is called hot-plugging, and it can cause the effect you saw in empower. Try to only plug the instant pilot in or out while the system is powered off. If it happens again, you can try to force cold start every module in the stack with the instant pilot disconnected. Neither hot-plugging nor hot-unplugging is supported with the Instant Pilot. Often it will work and that's why people usually don't care, but it can also create problems, like modules falling into resident mode.
