We have an issue where the flow cell in our fluorescence detector is leaking and it has yet to be resolved, so we are ordering a replacement. While we are waiting for a new FLD flow cell, is there a way that we can bypass our fluorescence detector and still use our HPLC system with the DAD detector only?
We tried to directly connect the DAD to the fraction collector without going through the FLD, but the instrument will not run as is does not detect flow by the FLD cell. Any advice on how to change settings in the ChemStation software or any other tips to help us still use the HPLC while we wait ~3 weeks for the part would be appreciated!
