1260 Infinity II - Error code 506

Has anyone seen the error code 506 on a 1260 infinity II LC? Please see the pictures below for further information.

Over many years and lots of experience with Agilent LC we have never experienced this before. Kind regards, Stefan.

  • I haven't seen such error either, but I doubt this is a real hardware problem. Could you try a forced cold start on all the modules? This is done by:

    - switch off the module

    - putting DIP switches (at the rear of the module) 1 and 6 to the upper position, all others down

    - switch on the module

    - wait 1 min

    - switch off the module

    - put all DIP switches to their original position

    - switch on the module

If this doesn't help, try connecting the Instant Pilot to just one module, so remove the CAN cables.
