Hi,is there a procedure to rinse and stock columns?

    it depends on your columns. But whatever are the mobile phase required to store your column in (you can look on our website with your column product number and you should find the information), you can do equilibration steps to fill your column. So you can calculate the volume of the column and then do 10 times that volume in mobile phase used to store the column to completely fill the column with said mobile phase. Then remove the column and use the white plugs to plug both ends of the column.

     

    For the rinsing, you can use whatever is stronger mobile phase and use that for a while to make sure everything is out. Make sure you are using something that works with the column though. Do not use strong organic solvents with C18 type columns for example.
