Error in GC-MSD sequence

The acqmeth.txt file contains the sampler, GC, and MS parameters as used to run the sample and is created underneath each sample's xxxxx.D subdirectory.

Did it work using this same method, sequence, and data file pathway before?  What sampler is being used?   Is this a new sequence or did you edit one? Do you use compliance mode?

An easy test is to create a new sequence from default.s, and try running that sequence saving to the local computer's default data file location plus a subdirectory, like: d:\GCMS\1\data\ 22Nov2024\

The sequence progresses and acquires normally, only after an "n" injection the error appears for the next vial. To inject I use a PAL, the sequence was edited from a previous 40 vial sequence that worked perfectly.
So, according to the suggestions, and it is of my greatest interest, the error is not related to the software itself, but possibly to something else, such as the path in which I am saving the data?

The fact that it worked before in the previous 40 vial sequence says it's not the software itself.  The error could be related to either an edited sequence or the path. The easiest way to troubleshoot is to make a new sequence to the default path. If that works, then it's not a software bug/defect for sure.
