I am trying to start a sequence on my GC-MS (PAL 3 RSI headspace mode, GC 8890 and MSD 5977C) but nothing happens. Last injections were manual injections, but I had no problem with the system before. In the “Sampler status” window, “Sample status”, the status for each sample goes from “pending” to “error” without further information. The syringe and agitator reach temperature. The PAL beeps to announce it is going to move but doesn’t do anything.
Here is what I tried:
- Removing the HS tool and reinstalling it.
- Checking teaching for agitor, injector, tray. Good.
- Restarting the PAL alone.
- Restarting the whole system (GC-MS, PAL, computer).
Any advice on what to try next is welcome!
