Hello Sir, I have a question on GC-MSD (GC-8890 and MSD-5977B), How can I Configure Sleep/Wake Operation Simple, Straight Forward Setup option in my GC-MSD.

I just keep a sleep method loaded in chemstation and the run method in the sequence table with a flush injection at the start. Once the sequence is done it will go back to the sleep method.

Check out starting on Page 191 in the Agilent 8890 Gas Chromatograph Operation Manual G3540-90014 . This should be loaded on your instrument controller computer. It is also available here: Operation Manual (agilent.com)
