The 8890 model is G3542A and the 5977 model is G7077-64427. I have power cycled both instruments. The data system is MassHunter 10.1.49. The screen on the 8890 gives me the choice to check Use Bootp or Use GC Subnet. Neither one works. The screen also has a red note: The MS IP address does not fall within the valid IP range (192.168.254.0, 192.168.254.255) per the MS Net Mask and Gateway. The MS IP Address is 10.1.1.102, The MS Gateway is 192.168.254.1 and the MS Net Mask is 255.255.255.0
