problem with tuning GC MS HES

Hi

May be filament two is not good..As you said its new but may be keep in stock from long time and performance decay.

Check both filament part number is same.

Or May be path of filament two is contaminted.means hole and near by area of filament two is dirty.

we tried every thig including clean the ion source and changing filament again and still the same problem

Generally, we are keeping one complete ion source assy and electron multiplier horn in our stock to diagnose it.

Sometimes, parts of ion source become so scratchy after cleaning so many times and giving problem..
