Can anyone share procedure " how to clean ion source radiator of MSD 5977 "

I've used the green micro-grit paper with a small amount of methanol. Rolling this mesh around a cylindric applicator makes it easier for smaller spaces. I never dared to use the micro-grit for the radiator…

Hi ishtiyaq, The source radiator doesn't effect performance. I would leave it alone. James

Hi snorman, The radiator/ magnet area doesn't benefit from cleaning. What you are most likely seeing is ion burn and this doesn't effect performance. Regards James
