I am running an ethyl acetate sample on a GC/MS with a solvent delay. Is it possible to get ions from ethyl acetate (or any solvent used) after the solvent front elutes and past the solvent delay? I am getting a 58 ion 3 minutes after the solvent delay and only at a single retention time. Could it be ethyl acetate?
