tune max repeller voltage

Question

Please could you explain how the max repeller voltage set in the tune affects the tune? Does a higher max. value mean the tune can use up to that voltage to tune or will it use that max value as default? Will a difference in a max repeller value in the tune file affect the analysis?

I have some thoughts of my own on this but would like to know what experienced users think.

Hi 
 Actually, repeller pushes ion to mass filter so it's dirty or scratchy then voltage of repller will change to adjust the ion. 
 You can see curve of repller during autotune. 
 Maximum 35 is recommended but it's advisable to clean it once reaching to 35 and curve is not good...
