We are using Agilent vials/caps (Syringe 23G (Agilent tech, 9301-0725)- GC vials 2ml (Agilent tech, 5182-0715)- GC lids 9mm (Agilent tech, 5185-5820)). The firmware was updated to the latest version but the issue still occurs and happens on 3 different units with this injector. The foot is not contaminated with any kind of substance that causes sticking.
A thinner 23-26G gauge needle (5181-3354) fixes the problem but also gets blocked too easily. I was therefore wondering how I can edit the injection x,y,z protocol to add a short pause after the Z home from sample aspiration to fix this problem or another possible solution that doesn't require buying a new autosampler?
