Argon as Carrier Gas for permanent gases on TCD

Hi all!

I am trying to use Argon as the carrier gas for permanent gas analysis due to the increased sensitivity to H2 on a TCD as compared to Helium. I am using a 6890 machine with a TCD and a 0.53mm shincarbon micropacked column. I can't find any info about the required flow rates and pressures for argon on such a column. I can't find any van deemter plots for argon on such columns either. Does anyone have any experience with this? I also came across another answer here saying that for packed columns the flow rate doesn't matter much but I am a bit sceptical about this as the efficiency could be reduced.
