Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has ever worked with a .dat data file from EZChrom Using ChemStation? Thanks in advance for your input.

Hello Rose , thank you for your question.
When you want to use ChemStation to analyze EZChrom data.
Please follow these steps.
1,Export cdf data from EZChrom.
In method>details >data export tub
check Enable export box and select AIA(CDF).
In export option, you can select export path, too.
save method and reprocess.
2,Import cdf file to ChemStation
In data analysis view
File>Import file>load AIA file
You can analysis EZChrom data using Chemstation.
Different software will not produce exactly the same results because the analysis mechanism is different.
Thank you for your confirmation.

Hi Mayumi,
Thank you very much for your time and the answer. We have already done the steps in solution number 1 of your answer. Chemstation can read the file and it is possible to visualize the chromatogram. However, the peak names are not shown correctly. Apparently, the file does not carry the correct peak names.
Hello Rose ,
Thank you for your reply.
The information of peak name is not stored in AIA file.
Analysis information, including peak names, must be set again in the Chemistation.
Do you meet your request?
Thank you for your confirmation.
Hello again Mayumi,
Thank you for the confirmation that the AIA file does not carry the peak names!
What other possibility can help that Chemstation open a chromatogram from EZChrom properly (with all info)? Something like a file conversion from AIA to a .d file format?
Hello Rose ,
Thank you for your review.
Since the software is different, it is not possible to convert all the analysis information in its entirety.
AIA files and .dat file can not convert .d file.
Hi Mayumi,
Thank you very much for your time and help. Very informative.
