7890A GC Sequence aborting right after starting

If I recall correctly, front inlet purging is a normal message to see on the GC.  If you are able to do a single run then it probably isn't the hardware.  There may be an issue with your sequence table, such as a bad vial location.  Try reading the sequence logbook in Chemstation.

I have updated the tags for better visibility. I would concur with Abdur with checking the logbook. You could also try building a sequence from the default sequence to see if the behavior changes.

On a side note, I have seen similar behaviours when customers are using 3rd party software for creating/running sequences. In those cases, single runs were possible but not sequences. It is possible that in those specific cases the problem is around the 3rd party software communication with the GC/sampler; the recommendation would be to reach out to the 3rd party vendor in those cases.

Otherwise, the previous responses regarding log files and building a new sequence table from default are perfectly valid troubleshooting methods.,
