I have a GC-FID-7890B. The front detector shows "High Voltage Fault". What could be wrong?

Did you do any maintenance recently in FID?
Please check your jet, clean or replace it...restart and check if still problem persist then may be glow plug is broken..after all of these, if still problem then u have to call Agilent to diagnose electronics of fid like electrometer etc...
Thank you. I'll try those.
The real error or problem is that the -220 V to the FID collector is out of limits (too high or too low).
The -220 V electronics are contained on the FID Signal Board or the FID Electrometer.
One of these parts has a defect and must be replaced. Highest probability is the FID signal board, then the FID electrometer
Have you maintenance your FID before this error appear?
Now you try to check it again.
Turn off your machine, removed electric socket out of power supply.
Open the FID: Disconnect cable of ignitor, turn nut on the top (they make rough for easy turn)
Check the spring inside where connect to collector (collector stay between 2 insulators) If this spring wrong connect It will appear this error. or some case FID board were died.
