I have a 6890N gc with 2 FPD detectors. One detector has low sesitibity. Maybe it needs a new O ring for the ignitor?
I checked the flows comming out of the derectors. The make up gas was set to 60 but my flowmeter read 30.
I snooped around with a helium leak detector and found one of the detectors has a leak somewhere inside of it.
I swapped the 2 colums ( I use a 2 hole injection port ferrule) and got the same low results on my 2nd FPD so I think my problem is with the detector.
Maybe I need to use different flow rates?
