Another day, another Empower error (7890B, Empower 3)

So the GC is under Empower control, gets ready to inject and then does not inject, throwing this error into message center:

Not a valid back injector range. Back injector range is between 501-999.

Any ideas??

Turns out that when using the rear port, vial numbering has to begin with 501. Do not ask why, I do not know.

What vail number is used if the head space is connected to the front port?
