The method is old, we used it for a long time, until last week everything was ok, however, since Friday it started showing such errors.
Syringe size configured for sampler is: 2.5 mL CTC Headspace, 23g - Agilent
volume of sample used for injection: 1 mL

Have you verified the syringe holder is for the headspace syringe?

We have gotten a similar error.  Turns out our syringe was pretty dirty.  We ended up swapping for a different one and we having seen it since.

Have you rebuilt the method from the default method? This would rule out corruption as the cause of the issue. The error code refers to a plunger position error. This could be the result of a dirty syringe or a hardware issue with the injection unit or you are trying to inject too fast. Given that this method has run for awhile I would check the syringe or you could possibly need service on your injection unit.

Hi James.

We checked the software settings and noticed something wrong, when we fixed the software link, it went back to normal, we deleted the access link and configured it again.
