Are there any issues with connecting a 5973N to an 8890?

You can use a 5973N with an 8890, but there are some requirements/exceptions.

You cannot control the 8890 with old MSD Chemstation versions, you need MassHunter 10.0 or higher for that.

You cannot control the 5973N with MassHunter 13, you will need MassHunter 10.2 SR3 or lower to do that.

Or, in other words, you can control an 8890 with a 5973N only if you are using MassHunter versions between the 10.0 - 10.2 SR3 range.
