ECM Configurations

You should probably open a ticket with informatics support. https://servicedesk.li.agilent.com/support One thing you need to do is be logged into the ECM server as the service account when trying to configure ECM. Do not try to configure ECM with an account that is logged into the server at the time. Also, you might check that the service account is still a local admin on the server.

Hi Martin,

I did try to configure whiled logged in with the service account. I still get the same error. I have confirmed the account to have local admin access.

I would like to open a ticket with informatics, but we do not have a SMA. I really need to get this resolved asap. Is there anything else i can do?

Hello,

You might want to reboot the ECM server and try again if you have not done that already. You might be able to update the user password directly in the SSI component service and the SSI FTS Components which are where the error is calling out. You can also check the ECM to make sure all the parts are still available. If any of the sites are missing that could indicate a problem with the install.

Hi,

The reboot and updating the credentials worked. No more errors for the configuration.

However, I am on the login screen and it is not recognizing my login for within the Domain. I am getting "Invalid login was supplied". I've confirmed my login. Is there some kind of block happening?

I entered my username, pw, account and Domain. 

Hello,

Login with a built-in account and make sure the account user for browsing the domain has the updated password. Depending on the version the storage user passwords and the domain account user passwords should be updated but it is possible that did not happen.

I dont seem to have classic, but in my programs i see an Agilent OpenLab ECM Client. Version 3.4.1.691. How would i navigate to that application? I tried to search it.
