Sequence Validation Lag

I am running OpenLab CDS 2.5 with ECM and locally installed clients. Sometimes when I submit a sequence OpenLab will take 10+ minutes to validate the sequence before it starts running. This doesn't seem to occur consistently and seems to be independent of sequence length. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Hello,

If this is happening when the AIC has been idle for a period of time, possibly the first sequence you run in the morning on an AIC, then it is likely an issue where the AIC to ECM communication is closing. This causes the connection to timeout before reconnecting which add the time to the validation. I would suggest you open a ticket with the informatics group and they can help resolve the issue. https://servicedesk.li.agilent.com/support
