This happened to me today. I only used 20 wells out of 96 wells plate. I don't know whether that cause the problem.
I have the same problem on the XF HS mini analyser, some drugs are not injected, sometimes it is the A or the B port depending of the run.
Hi Ruohan and Lbmp,
Can you tell me if, when loading the ports, all ports of the series being used were loaded? For example, if using Port A, were all ports (including background and unseeded wells) filled with liquid? Not doing this can result in issues with injections.
Thank you,
Courtney
Hi,
The tech told me to fill all the wells. I loaded all ports (A,B, and C) in all the wells of the plate, and that solved the problem.
This means we can't use the partial plate.
Sincerely
Ruohan
Hi Ruohan,
Thank you for your reply. Correct, if you are using ports A, B, and C, you will want to load all of those ports with either reagent or assay media (for the wells that do not have cells). If this is not done, the instrument cannot build up pressure and inject the reagents properly. I am sorry about the inconvenience this causes!
Thank you,
Courtney
