HS RNA tape detect DNA

Question

Hi, I am isolating cfRNA from plasma and check the trace by HS RNA on tape station. Just want to ask whether we will see the DNA when using HS RNA tape? the signal are combind RNA+DNA?

 Thank you for reaching out. Please note that we have not tested nor validated cfRNA samples on the HS RNA ScreenTape assay. We have only designed and validated this assay using total RNA. The dye in the HSRNA ScreenTape assay can detect dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA. Therefore, both RNA and DNA can be visualized with the HSRNA ScreenTape assay.
