Fragment Analyzer 5200: Missed Dilution 5 times 930dsDNA Inlet buffer

Hello When using Fragment Analyzer 5200, I forgot to dilute 5 times the 930dsDNA Inlet buffer. Would this lead to serious consequence on the capillaries states?

Thank you for your reply.

  • Good morning Nadya and thank you for using Agilent Community.

regarding of the issue you are facing I would recommend you to perform a Method C flush and/or a tip soak ( see fragment analyzer system manual for step by step procedure) to restore the capillary array. This mistake shouldn't have any impact on your capillaries nevertheless in case of a run with the concentrated buffer you should expect to see much higher separation current and some separation issues.
