Hello,
We recently updated from ICP Expert version 7.4 to version 7.7 (7.7.0.13059) and we have noticed a couple of things that have gotten worse with this update:
Files made with a computer that does not use US date and time format (MM/DD/YYYY) become corrupted and unopenable. (Invalid DateTime error when opening files made this way.)
No longer able to use "Auto fill down" for internal standard selection, this is a big problem since we have up to >100 wavelengths on measurements every now and then and filling them by hand is very time consuming.
Software crashes if trying to reset maintenance counter with non US localization settings.
Migrating old files en-masse is very tedious if done the way it seems one is supposed to do it. (Although we did find a way to automate this after a while)
With version 7.4 we did not have almost any problems with the localization settings (except with . or , as a decimal separator).
We have two computers with the software installed, the instrument computer (Win 10 pro 10.0.17134, from Agilent, no network connections) and a computer for data handling (Win10, soon to be Win11, online)
It is not feasible to switch the computer used for data handling to use american localization settings because it causes a bunch of problems and is in general just very inconvenient.
Are there any fixes for any of these problems planned for future updates?
