I'm looking for your assistance regarding an issue we are experiencing with our aqueous ICP-OES instrument Agilent 5900, specifically related to the lower sensitivity in potassium measurements (line 766.490 nm radial and axial modes).
Despite following the standard operating procedures, we have observed that the sensitivity for potassium is significantly lower than expected. We have already checked and calibrated our standards, optimized sample preparation, and ensured that the nebulizer and spray chamber are clean and functioning correctly. However, the issue persists.
Could you please provide guidance on additional troubleshooting steps or maintenance procedures that we might have overlooked.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
