Hello, I'm using 7800 ICP-MS analyzing water based sample(0.25mL) diluted with NMP(25mL).
At first, this method was successful to achieve accuracy and repeatability.
But these days, the detection speed is becoming slower and slower, making a delay in result.
For example, 3th sample's value showed in 4th line and 4th value showed in 5th line..
I tried to change almost all parts(sample probe, tubing, nebulizer, torch) and clean cones and ion lenses but nothing helped.
The only thing I could do was lengthening the stabilization time (it's 180sec now) but it's not working anymore.
So I suspected that water sample diluted with NMP could get stuck in the introduction part of the instrument.
Do you think it's possible or would there be another reason?
