Masshunter C4.6 Method Reporting is Broken

Hello All,

I have a 7900 ICPMS with Masshunter C.01.06 Build 621.2. It is a fresh reinstall of the software.
We've had this software since 2020 installed one 2 different workstation computers now.

Batch method reporting has never worked. From online instrument control, clicking Report→Print Peripump/ISIS or Print Batch Method→Acq Method returns the error: "Selected Acquisition Method data are missing or broken. Please select other data to display."

We get the same error message from Offline Data Analysis when we click Report→Acquisition Method→Show Acquisition Method.

Has anyone else encountered this error?

Can anyone recommend a solution?

    When you have bizarre behavior either something is missing, or you are using special characters in the regional settings or something that is not has required.  Make sure you have all the visual C++ install. Make sure you have followed the installation guide.  Excel also need to be supported.  4.6 patch 3 support to win10 64bit 20H2.

    Thanks for your reply ulrichntaniel, that's very helpful.

    I double checked the C++, they are all there.

    I double checked the regional settings and found that the date format was not as specified and I fixed it. This did not make a difference to my issue.

    I checked the Excel version, and it was too new. I asked IT to roll back to 2019 32-bit. This did not make a difference to my issue.

    I have Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2. We chose this version of Windows after a call to Agilent to ask about OS compatibility.
