Dear colleagues.
We have a problem with the ICP 5900 (ICP Expert software version 7.7) camera cooling. The temperature of the CCD is not stabilized in time. When the water is turned on, the peltier begins to cool and drops to -42.8 degrees. After that the temperature starts to rise very slowly and in most cases an error occurs that the camera did not reach the set temperature in time. Software gives error message - CCD Peltier temperature not reached -40 C in 180000 ms - CAMERA_CAMERA_PELTIER_COOLING_TIMEOUT
Sometimes it can to rise to 42.4 C - Camera LED becomes green and there is no error massage and instrument is working. During analysis CCD temperature is rising to -40 and stay stable.
Has anyone encountered such a problem?
