Calibration curve parameters

I'm running SpectrAA software on a 240FS flame atomic absorption spectrometer. I typically use a "New Rational" calibration curve fit. Are there fit parameters listed somewhere in the datalog or somewhere else in the experiment? When everything is working well, I don't mind using the internal instrument calibration as a "block box", but I would like to be able to see the fit parameters of my calibration both for troubleshooting and to show my students how the instrument is fitting the calibration. If I were using a simple linear calibration fit, I would be looking for a slope and an intercept. I know the "New Rational" fit is a little more complex than that, but the software still has to have fit parameters buried somewhere... I just haven't been able to find them yet.

Any insight is appreciated.

  • Hello,

To view the curve parameters, you can right click on the calibration curve and then click parameters. Please see screen capture below. I have also attached an application note which further explains the New Rational fit. Hope this helps and have a great day

  • Thanks! Some day I'll learn "always try right click" when I'm looking for more info...
