Calibration curve

Hello all, I´m doing a method validation according to ICH guideline Q3D . In my calibration curve should I include the point 0? The point 0 it is equal to BEC.

Yes we always run a 0 point for spectroscopy (use the CalBlk sample type) and it will determine the BEC. It also determines your internal standard recovery for your entire analysis so I normally run 2 or 3 just in case there’s a little contamination leftover from the tuning solution and to ensure the internal standard signal is stable.

Hello thanks for your reply, for spectroscopy related to the calibration curve, it is possible to do just one point or I need to use a calibration curve?
